When I look at my mother’s face I think of many things, This is the first time I have painted a portrait of her, and it has evoked many memories, but also a desire to show her true character in art. My mother was a great teacher and she did this with kindness and thoughtfulness. She has always had a warm smile, her heart is big, and her children have always been a primary focus of her life.
It has been a great pleasure to paint this portrait of my mother.

어머니의 얼굴을 보면 많은 생각이 듭니다. 이번이 처음으로 어머니의 초상화를 그렸고, 많은 추억을 떠올리게 되었습니다. 이번 작품에서 어머님의 진정한 성격을 보여주고 싶은 생각이 들었습니다. 우리 어머니는 훌륭한 선생님 이셨고 친절하고 사려가 깊습니다. 그분은 항상 따뜻한 미소를 지었고, 그분의 마음은 크고, 그분의 자녀들을 항상 삶의 초점에 두었습니다. 이번에 어머니의 초상화를 그리는 것은 나의 기쁨이었습니다.
