Group Exhibition title is ” Mother’s”

Zinnia and Echinacea flowers can with stand the harshest of rain and the Windiest of days, all to protect their seed so that they may live for a sunny day.

To me, this is the “Mother’s Life.”

In painting this homage to mother’s, I was challenged to paint dried and aged flowers, capturing them not as lifeless and brown, but to re-animate them with the exciting transparent colour of their former selves
