Just Another DayEnquire

As we age, the more we seem to treasure those ‘everyday’ days. It was just another day when my children took me to a cafe that wasn’t fancy, but cosy and comfortable. The way my husband was sitting and smiling with that huge grin, the way we drowned out our everyday worries behind our laughter – the way we enjoyed the day – it was just another one of those days that we cherish.
어느 한가한 주말 오전에 아들과 함께 시티의 한 카페를 갔었다. 가끔 나의 아들과 딸은 그들이 가 봤던 곳 중에서 인상 깊었던 곳이나 우리 부부가 좋아할만한 음식이 있으면 가끔 우리를 데려다 주곤 한다. 언제나처럼 어느 주말에 아들이 인테리어가 예쁘고 음식이 맛있었다는 카페에 우리를 안내해 주었다. 아이들과 브런치를 즐기면서 이런 저런 사소한 얘기를 하고 있었는데 맞은편에 앉아있는 남편의 미소가 너무나 편안하고 즐거워 보였다.
